About the Designer
Heather Richmund lives and breathes design. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1967 she first picked paint colors for her bedroom when she was five years old and at the age of 9 was taught how to sew by her Mother. She has never looked back since. Always with a sketchbook in her handbag, she finds inspiration everywhere she goes and applies it to her interior design projects as well as her custom made handbags. Heather has a four year degree in interior design, a minor in studio art and her custom made handbags can be seen on the arm of discerning women from Indiana to California and internationally in Australia and London. Having lived and worked as an interior designer in the Los Angeles area for a number of years, Heather designed interiors for clients in Santa Barbara, Montecito, Malibu and Beverly Hills. She has fused a California style with her Midwest roots to create a fresh look that's inviting and elegant. Heather lives in Avon, Indiana with her Aussie husband, Neil and their son Jaxon.
